AP Chem is a rigorous 1st year university course designed to give students a strong background in the characteristics of matter and how it changes. Students need strong fundamental algebra skills and the ability to apply those skills to problem solving situations. After school lab sessions are a course requirement with mandatory and are tentatively scheduled for every other week.
